Some seniors, elderly, and patients with disabilities have difficulties in dealing with their daily living activities due to physical limitations. Our Team of Caregivers and Home Health Aides are trained and qualified to perform the following tasks:

The caregivers of Heart of Compassion Home Health Agency of Florida come to our clients’ homes to provide assistance with activities of daily living that don’t need hands-on assistance, including the following:
- Medication Reminders
- Observing self-medication
- Local Transport for Doctor’s Appointments or Shopping
- Light Housekeeping and Laundry
- Meal Planning, Preparation, and Cooking
- Writing Letters & Playing Games
- Running Errands
- Accompanied Walks
Our caregivers are rigorously trained to provide this care with a professional, cheerful spirit while preserving safety, hygiene, and dignity. They can also offer friendly company or much-needed help with routine chores that have become more challenging.
If your loved ones’ health or comfort is at risk due to the frailty of their age or illness, visits from our caregivers can make all the difference! Of course, we help with all the aforementioned tasks. But most of all, we bring a ray of sunshine to our clients’ day and a great deal of comfort to their families knowing all is well. We can send a companion to the home daily, several times a week, or as often as needed.

Hospital Accompaniment
A stay in the hospital is always tough. But, it’s even tougher if your loved one is far away. Don’t worry! Our caregivers can come to your relative’s home, help pack their clothes and belongings, and close down their house. Then, they’ll provide or arrange transportation, help them check in to the hospital, and carry in their luggage.
Once your loved one is settled in, our caregiver can stay by their side as much as they need, even 24 hours a day (hospital regulations permitting). Our caregivers and office staff can also help keep your family informed on your relative’s progress as frequently as desired. We provide comfort when family or friends can’t always be there.
When the hospital stay is complete, our caregiver will pack your loved one’s belongings, assist with discharge, arrange or provide transportation back home, and help them get settled. Then, we can keep a caregiver in the home as long as they’re needed, allowing your relative to recover at their pace and with total peace of mind.

Getting around town for doctors’ appointments can be difficult. A cab driver won’t give your relative the assistance they need or stay with them during the appointment, but we will.
Our caregivers will pick up your loved one early, transport them safely to their doctor, help them from the car to the office, and stay by their side during the appointment. A visit to the doctor can be stress-free when our caregivers are around.
Does your relative need to go to the mall to pick up a gift, do some grocery shopping, or visit a hair salon? Let us get them there according to their preferred schedule. All our caregivers have good driving records and current automobile insurance. They can also drive your loved one’s car or theirs.
